THE MEDIATRIX HEART INSTITUTE
A MEMBER OF THE H.B. CALLEJA NATIONAL HEART INSTITUTES
The Mediatrix Heart Institute (MHI) is one of the newest additions to the Mary Mediatrix Medical Center family and in just this short time, it has already redefined cardiovascular care not only in Batangas but in the entire Southern Tagalog region. Fully equipped with the state-of-the-art technology of Cardiac Catheterization, a Cardiovascular Operating Room Suite and a Coronary Care unit, the MHI has been the center of life-saving procedures which was previously not available south of Metro Manila.
Led by their indefatigable Heart Institute Director, Dr. Romulo Rosita, cardiologists have the MHI as their home in entrusting their patients for the highest quality care and the best place to enhance their medical practice.
As a member of the HB Calleja National Heart Institutes, its goal of making quality cardiovascular care more accessible to more Filipinos has been the main mission of the MHI and all the Cardiologists who are part of the team.

Alongside the many first in the region that the MHI has already done, one of its greater achievements is already brewing as it has already begun its Cardiology Fellowship Training Program. With homegrown cardiologists, this brings a new frontier for the Mediatrix Heart Institute, not only for today but for the future of Cardiovascular practice in the entire region. The said fellowship training program has produced eleven successful graduates throughout its existence.
Mediatrix Heart Institute is consistently striving to improve year after year. We continue to focus on optimizing our operations, steady progress and forward-thinking innovations.
